Fédération des Femmes du Québec - 12 Jours d'Actions

We have created a web application that gives FFQ's partner organizations the autonomy to create their activities and submit them for posting on the website according to specific criteria.


The annual 12 Days of action against Violence on Women is an opportunity to collectively reflect on the different forms of violence that affect women and to put forth concrete solutions to curb this scourge.


Coordinated by the Fédération des femmes du Québec, the 12 Days committee is an innovative coalition in Quebec that brings together nearly twenty organizations by and for women facing systemic marginalization and that have expertise in intervention and the fight against violence done to women and the defence of their rights.

After having created and powered their website in 2020, the 12 Days of Action Committee in collaboration with the FFQ mandated us for a second consecutive year to add applications to their website and to create several videos and graphic contents for their 2020-2021 awareness campaign.


The objective this year, is to conduct an awareness campaign taking into account the constraints of covid-19, we have after optimization of their website, developed a custom app system for creating, managing events and allowing public votes. This system allows all participating organizations to create their own events and to post them directly and automatically on the 12-Day Committee website.

For security and quality control reasons, we have also integrated into this app and for the website administrators a validation and approval module for the events submitted by the partner organizations. This allows approving each event submitted before its publication online.

In parallel to all of this and to ensure that the content created is consistent with the brand image and the ergonomics of the Joomla custom website, our content creation team was responsible for

  • producing striking visuals, 
  • editing several videos provided by the client and used throughout the campaign.

To conclude this 2020 mandate, we translated the entire website into English to reach a wider audience and make this campaign one of the most inclusive.

Remember that for the 2019-2020 campaign, which highlighted the École Polytechnique de Montréal massacre, we developed a digital letter "petition" with the possibility of an electronic signature that had a huge success and impact on the web.


Our efforts, expertise and collaboration on this project allowed the 12 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence Committee to save management time and focus most of their energy on the organization and success of each awareness campaign.
