What is UX Design and its benefits?

UX Design, also called User Experience Design, is a design technique that focuses on the user experience. Its goal is to optimize the customer experience in all aspects that intervene between the brand and the consumer. Nowadays, some people actually consider UX only as the digital aspect of the customer experience rather than the whole experience however it might be.

The tools that are primarily included in UX Design are websites, mobile applications, software, interactive kiosks and other user interfaces.

In order to understand UX Design you need to put yourself in the shoes of the customer and try to understand him. Ask yourself the questions "When, What, Why, Where, How? ". It is by answering these questions that you will create an experience that corresponds to your customer's needs and not yours. This is the difference and subtlety. You adapt to your customers and not the other way around to generate an ideal experience.

It's probably because of today's dynamic and competitive business market that industry standards and business norms have changed. It is no longer tolerated for brands to not consider their customers experiences and needs. The industry standards have changed and if you still want to be part of the game you must follow them. UX Design tries to involve customers as much as possible, and the whole process is not built in one day, it takes a lot of time. But don't worry, your efforts will be greatly rewarded! The key to using this technique in most effective way possible is to test.
